My proof copy of Time Trip: A Dinosaur Musical arrived in today’s mail.
Everything looks all right so far. The cover came out a little darker than I expected. Onscreen, it was lime green but in real life it’s more of a kelly green. My plan is to go through the text several times this weekend. If I don’t find any boo-boos, I will publish on Tuesday.
What is the difference between a proof copy and a regular book, you ask? On the very last page, the word Proof appears in large letters. The rest of the book is the same as a book you would find in a store or buy online.
Of course, the real book is much bigger than this. The actual size is 7 inches by 10 inches.
